Kristin Grant has an extensive background in early childhood education. She and her family have been opening exceptional preschools along the eastern seaboard since 1959. Kristin has been working as a reading specialist for nearly a decade, and she continues to act as a curriculum consultant for her family’s schools. She holds a Bachelors in English from the University of Georgia, a Masters in Education from Loyola College in Maryland, and she is certified in Primary Education (ages 2 ½ - 6) by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) in the Netherlands. Kristin previously acted as Co-Founder, President, and Director of Curriculum of Buckhead Preparatory School (2006-2010). She is also an accomplished violinist, having played since the age of two. She spent much of her teenage years playing violin professionally and training with internationally renowned violin instructor, Sonja Foster. Kristin and her husband Rob, a mechanical engineer, live in East Cobb with their two daughters, Caroline and Annelise. The four of them enjoy reading, cooking, going on long walks, and traveling.
In June 2010, The Marlowe School opened in a storybook cottage on Paces Ferry Place (above). In May 2018, we celebrated our last school year at our location in Tuxedo Park and moved our sweet school to Miami Circle.
